Apartments Tenerife

Tenerife Apartments are in general of a good quality and standard. When booking a Tenerife Apartment make sure you do some research prior to booking your accommodation and take note of each description you read and the grading each accommodation provider gives for each Tenerife apartment. Normally self catering apartments are graded on a key system from one key to three key. Unlike the grading system for hotels which, go from one star to five star accommodation. Unfortunately standards throughout Europe vary and to combat this some accommodation providers have introduced their own grading system. This enables them to give customers a consistent idea of the quality of their accommodation. This is so that one of their Apartments in Tenerife that is a three key can be compared to a comparable self catering property in Greece which they have also rated as a three key property.

However the less than honest accommodation companies ones will tend to increase the rate they give to some of their apartments in Tenerife so they can charge more for a property that is not what the customer thinks they are getting.

Make sure the accommodation provider you are booking with has listed all the facilities that you require as some companies rates may include access to the apartments children’s club or a fridge in the room. This could also be something free that another company that does not offer because they have negotiated a cheaper rate although they may still charge you the same. Remember all the companies are NOT always offering the same Tenerife property. Some apartments in Tenerife are built as part of a complex and sometimes one company has rooms in one part and another may have slightly cheaper apartments in another part, which can be the furthest away from the main area and might not have its own pool.

In the winter months it is possible to book apartments for longer durations and some on the UK’s senior citizens take advantage of the deals on offer and stay for the whole winter. It can work out cheaper to rent an apartment in Tenerife than pay the expensive fuel bills and food prices in the UK. However as you would expect the busy period to rent an apartment in Tenerife is during Christmas and New Year and especially for New Year for a week. A lot depends on when Christmas day falls as most privately rented apartments tend to be booked from a Friday or a Saturday as this is when most people arrange their holidays from. Some years ago most accommodation in Tenerife was booked on a Tuesday to a Tuesday as this was when the holiday companies had most of their flights. Now with all the airlines and charter flights available to Tenerife this is no longer an issue.

If you want an apartment in Tenerife do some research before you book and make sure you give yourself the holiday you deserve. Ask friends or work colleagues for their recommendations and check out the reviews on the accommodation sites.
